8th & 9th August 2026 · KIIT Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar
The IEEE MTT-S Microwave India Summit (MIS) 2026 is a landmark high-impact event bringing together visionaries from industry, academia, defense, and research to advance India's RF and microwave ecosystem.
Hosted at the iconic KIIT Convention Centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, this two-day summit serves as India's premier platform for microwave and RF technology exchange, featuring 16+ distinguished keynote speakers, 3 expert panel discussions, and 20+ industry exhibition stalls.
The IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society (MTT-S) is one of the largest and most active technical societies within the IEEE, with over 11,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1952, MTT-S is dedicated to advancing the theory and applications of RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technologies across fields including communications, sensing, medical applications, defense, and space.
MTT-S publishes premier journals, organizes flagship conferences such as IMS and MWC, and supports a global network of chapters, student branches, and technical committees. Through its Members and Geographic Activities (MGA) programs, MTT-S actively fosters regional communities of engineers and researchers across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.
IEEE MTT-S Region 10 represents the Asia-Pacific region, and India is one of the most vibrant and growing hubs within this network — making Bhubaneswar the ideal host city for the inaugural Microwave India Summit.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a Deemed-to-be University located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Established in 1992 by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, KIIT has grown into one of India's premier technical and research institutions, recognized by NAAC with an 'A++' grade and ranked consistently among the top engineering universities in India.
With state-of-the-art infrastructure, over 30,000 students, and a strong focus on research and innovation, KIIT provides an ideal setting for international academic conferences. The KIIT Convention Centre offers world-class facilities for hosting MIS 2026, supported by the university's School of Electronics Engineering — a hub of research in embedded systems, signal processing, and communication technologies.
